About the HB-800 Apex
The Apex is Hingeback's crossover wheel — sleek directional spokes that look sharp on a Land Cruiser in a ski resort parking lot and still perform on the forest road to get there. The spoke tips extend past the bolt circle to create a visual connection between the center cap and the outer lip, giving the Apex a larger visual presence than its moderate dimensions suggest. Arctic White on the Apex is our second-most-popular finish after Satin Black, driven almost entirely by the Land Cruiser and GX community.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Apex a good choice for a daily-driven Tundra?
The Apex is one of our most road-friendly designs. The 20x9 with +18mm offset is a factory-equivalent fitment for the Tundra — no lift, no trimming, no rubbing. The directional spoke pattern is smooth and quiet at highway speeds. It's the wheel we recommend when someone says 'I want it to look good but I'm not building a rock crawler.'
What makes the Apex different from the Drift?
The Drift (HB-730) is a mesh pattern with smaller, more numerous openings — it's more technical-looking. The Apex has fewer, wider spokes with a flowing directional sweep. The Drift is more trail/overland in its aesthetic; the Apex is more crossover/luxury. Both are excellent wheels — it's really about which visual language matches your build.
Does the Apex fit a 200-series Land Cruiser?
Yes. The 200-series LC uses a 5x150 bolt pattern, and the Apex is available in that pattern. The 18x9 with 0mm offset is the ideal fitment — it clears the factory brakes and pairs with 285/65R18 tires for a mild lift setup or 33" tires with a 2" lift.
