The Drift is Hingeback's cleanest design — a 6-spoke directional mesh pattern that looks as good on a mall-crawling 4Runner as it does on an overland-rigged Tundra. The directional spoke pattern isn't just aesthetic: it's engineered to channel airflow across the brake rotor for measurably lower brake temps on long mountain descents. What does 'directional' mean for wheel mounting?
The Drift's spoke pattern is asymmetric — it's designed to channel air in one direction when the wheel rotates forward. This means the left-side and right-side wheels mount differently. Each Drift wheel is stamped 'L' or 'R' on the inner barrel. When you order a set of 4, you get 2L and 2R.
Will the Arctic White finish yellow over time?
No. Hingeback's Arctic White uses a ceramic-infused clear coat that blocks UV yellowing. We tested it at 2,000 hours of accelerated UV exposure (equivalent to ~5 years of Arizona sun) with zero measurable color shift. It carries a full 3-year warranty like all our finishes.
Does the HB-730 Drift fit a Lexus GX 460?
Yes. The GX 460 uses a 6x139.7 bolt pattern with a 106.1mm hub bore — both are standard Drift specs. The 18x9 with 0mm offset is the most popular GX fitment, pairing well with 285/70R18 tires and a 2-3" lift.
