About the HB-820 Warhead
The Warhead is unapologetically aggressive. An exposed-lug design where the wheel nuts sit proud of the spoke surface, framed by machined pockets that draw the eye to the hardware. The spoke faces are CNC-milled with a directional grain pattern that catches light at different angles depending on wheel position. Signal Red on the Warhead is the most Instagram-saved wheel in our lineup — it's the one that stops people in parking lots. If the Shadow is an all-black outfit, the Warhead in Signal Red is a tailored suit with a red pocket square.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need special lug nuts for the Warhead's exposed design?
The Warhead uses standard conical seat (60-degree) lug nuts — the same type used by most aftermarket wheels. However, because the lugs are visually exposed, we strongly recommend using our Hingeback branded lug nut kit ($39/set of 20) which is color-matched to each finish. Nothing ruins an exposed-lug wheel like mismatched lug nuts.
Is Signal Red available on other Hingeback wheels?
Signal Red is available on the Warhead (HB-820), Outlaw (HB-750), and as a beadlock ring color for the Dune (HB-780). It's our most distinctive finish and we keep it limited to designs where the aggressive color matches the aggressive geometry. Putting Signal Red on the understated Shadow would be... a choice.
What's the weight penalty of the Warhead vs. simpler designs?
The Warhead is 31.2 lbs in 18x9 — about 5 lbs heavier than our lightest wheel (the Centurion at 24.2 lbs). The extra weight comes from the deep dish, exposed lug pockets, and HD-rated barrel. For a wheel in this aggressive style category, 31.2 lbs is competitive — Vision's comparable 415 Bomb is 33+ lbs in the same size.
