About the HB-720 Bastion
The Bastion takes the classic multi-spoke off-road wheel and adds Hingeback's signature stainless steel accent bolts around the outer lip. Twelve forged steel bolts aren't just decorative — they're replaceable and protect the lip edge from rock strikes. The spoke geometry is optimized for brake cooling with oversized windows between each spoke. Desert Tan is a Hingeback exclusive that pairs perfectly with earth-tone Jeep builds.

What's the purpose of the stainless steel lip bolts on the Bastion?
The 12 forged stainless bolts serve double duty: they protect the outer lip from rock damage on the trail, and they're individually replaceable if one gets damaged. Each bolt is torqued to spec and secured with medium-strength threadlocker. Replacement bolt kits are $24 for a set of 12.
Does the HB-720 Bastion fit Toyota Tacoma?
Yes. The Bastion is available in 6x139.7 (6x5.5") bolt pattern which fits all 2005+ Toyota Tacoma models. The 106.1mm hub bore accommodates Tacoma's 106mm hub. We recommend the 17x9 with -12mm offset for a mild poke with 33" tires.
How does the Desert Tan finish hold up?
Desert Tan uses the same multi-layer powder coat process as all Hingeback finishes — zinc primer, color, UV clear coat. It carries a full 3-year warranty against peeling, chipping, and fading. It's specifically formulated to resist discoloration from brake dust, which is a common issue with lighter wheel finishes.
