About the HB-780 Dune
The Dune combines Hingeback's clean 6-spoke geometry with a simulated beadlock ring that doubles as a color accent. The ring is a separate machined piece with rectangular cutouts that echo the shape of the spoke windows. Order the ring in Satin Black for a monochrome look, or go two-tone with a Mojave Green or Burnt Copper ring on a black wheel. The two-tone combos have become a signature Hingeback look — you'll see them all over Overland Expo and the Bronco forums. Ring swaps take 20 minutes with basic hand tools.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I buy extra rings to swap colors?
Yes. Additional beadlock rings are sold separately at $49 each. They come in Satin Black, Mojave Green, Burnt Copper, Signal Red, Desert Tan, and Arctic White. Each ring fits any HB-780 Dune wheel regardless of size. It's the most affordable way to change your truck's look seasonally.
How do the two-tone Dune combos look in person?
The Satin Black wheel with Mojave Green ring is our most photographed wheel combination. The contrast is subtle in shade and dramatic in direct light. We recommend checking our Instagram (@hingebackoffroad) for real customer builds. The Burnt Copper ring on a tan or white vehicle is the other standout combo.
Is the beadlock ring functional or just cosmetic?
The Dune's ring is cosmetic — it simulates the beadlock look but the tire seats on a standard bead shelf. For actual bead retention performance, step up to the HB-850 Lockout which has an engineered bead grip groove in addition to the ring. The Dune is about the aesthetic and the customization flexibility.
