About the HB-830 Gauge
The Gauge borrows its design language from a revolver cylinder — six deep circular spoke windows arranged around the center hub, each one a chamber in the round. The machined window edges are radiused and polished, catching light in a way that flat-faced wheels can't match. It's a conversation-starter wheel that people either love immediately or need to see in person to appreciate. The Gauge in Desert Tan has become the go-to wheel for the sand-colored Tacoma TRD Pro crowd, and we've seen it on more Bronco Wildtracks than we expected.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the Gauge compare to KMC's Dirty Harry?
Both wheels draw from revolver-inspired design language, but the execution is different. The Gauge uses deeper, more pronounced circular windows with polished edges — it leans into the chamber aesthetic harder. The Dirty Harry has a more conventional split-spoke with circular accents. The Gauge is also about $30 less per wheel and available in Desert Tan, which KMC doesn't offer.
Is the Gauge good for off-road use or is it more of a show wheel?
The Gauge is fully trail-rated. The circular window geometry is actually stronger than traditional straight spokes because the stress distributes around the radius instead of concentrating at corners. It's been on our sponsored King of the Hammers pre-runner rig for two seasons with zero cracking. That said, it is a head-turner at the trailhead — dual-purpose by design.
Will brake dust accumulate in the circular windows?
The circular windows are actually easier to clean than mesh or multi-spoke designs because there are no tight corners for brake dust to pack into. A standard wheel brush fits right through each window. The polished window edges also resist dust adhesion better than textured surfaces.
